Located in the state of Rio Grande do Sul, the São Francisco de Paula National Forest is a very special site for the project. This is where we have been working the longest, we started in 2003 and we have been working there consistently ever since!. This site is also where the Ocelot effect hypothesis was tested. Today project member Dr. Rosane Vera Marques is leading research activities at the site.
