From July 12th-25th the Wild Cats Brazil sponsored the first conservation photo exposition titled “In the Eye of Extinction”, in the Shopping da Ilha, São Luís, MA, Brazil. The exposition had the goal of raising awareness about the importance of conservation and environmental preservation, with a focus on threatened species. Actions such as this one are very important in order to communicate science to the wider public.

The exposition was done with the support of Biology undergraduates from the Maranhão State University
